Dog Stop in Metairie is open again for dog sitting after Hurricane Ida
METAIRIE, Louisiana (WGNO) – As Southeast Louisiana continues to reopen after the destruction of Hurricane Ida, a local business is responding to a special community need: dog boarding.
The Dog Stop de la Métairie is once again open and fully operational for those who need dog sitting services. The company specializes in both boarding and daycare.
While many dog boarding services in the area remain closed after Hurricane Ida, Dog Stop staff are ready to roll up their sleeves.
In a statement announcing their reopening, Dog Stop owner Lisa Krake said:
We have worked diligently over the past two weeks to reopen and are happy to say that we can now take care of those in need of dog boarding and day care. It has been an uphill battle, but luckily our team got the job done, and we are ready to serve them in this most critical time of rebuilding. “
The Dog Stop is located at the corner of the veterans’ route and the Transcontinental in Métairie.
